so of course, then we would need a decider!
perhaps we could have one every year along with a Scottish referendum,

Why not? Had the result been 52/48 to remain in the EU then I'd have expected the leave camp to have campaigned for another referendum.

That doesn't surprise me and he isn't the only one.

Oh, I get it. Leavers could bang on for years about getting out of the EU. Apparently it was their democratic right to campaign. But now that they've got their way, it seems that our democratic right to object is frowned upon.
We're told that we have to suck it up, put up and shut up and accept it. A stance that would have brought howls of protest from those that didn't like the EU, had it been uttered a year or so back.

It's already one all.
It seems sensible to clarify what the split will actually mean rather than the "Brexit means Brexit" and "I know what it means to me" mantra.
There's only one chance to get it right and no going back with our various opt outs.

One thing Brexit will mean is that it is proposed that expats will not receive their annual increase in benefits and pensions. This info was sent to a friend in a letter from the international pension centre in Newcastle.

I think it's all about the way you look at the world and how you look at yourself. I'm English and that's how a lot of people see themselves. English, British, whatever. I couldn't care less. If it could be proven that everyone would be better off, then I'd have a federal Europe tomorrow. If it was proven that the break up of the EU would make everyone better off, then I'd go for that. I've not seen any evidence that being out of the EU will make anyone (other than the very rich) any better off, so I'm not optimistic in any sense.

I'm sure the Brexit lot will say it'll be fine, the UK Government will negotiate with Spain and everything will be hunky dorey. It's a shame that the UK can't look after the pensioners it already has and so I doubt Ex Pat pensioners will be high on it's priorities.

if you live in spain why worry about brexit, you should class yourself as spanish.
if you have a holiday home in spain you just got to suck it up and wait and see what happens.
most people who are shouting about brexit are those who are panicking about the exchange rate and health care, you should always air on the worst side and make sure you can afford to live if the rate changes.
i can't wait for the exit from the eu and yes i have a hoilday home in spain, this is not a problem for me.
