You mean apart from healthcare and pension rises being stopped? Good way to calm the nerves.

healthcare for UK expats is paid by the UK if over 65. Articles like that are what fooled lots of people to vote out.

You obviously didn't see the positives re unlikely to be kicked out and the unlikely adverse affect of the property market. Read into it what you will. I was trying to be helpful and you never know there may be one or two that did get some comfort from it.

Yes, I realise that and had the same email from Kyero. Obviously a lot is built up as they are a property company. However, as someone of a certain age, the healthcare bit is the worrying thing. Rajoy has already said we only get healthcare as EU citizens. That one also says we may have to pay. UK does, indeed at the moment, pay for our healthcare but that is one thing that my not be guaranteed. At our age, private health insurance would be prohibitive. The convenio especial at 157 euro a month each would be affordable (unless the pound really nosedives) but even that may not be guaranteed.
The annual upgrade in pension doesn't bother me as the last one was just over 2 quid a month or 24 quid a year. Even after 10 years that would only be 240 euro a year or the average electricity bill.
Still, it's nice to know they aren't going to kick us out (I never thought they would). What I am hoping is that we can get the same deal as current non-EU members and be granted permanent residence after 5 years continuous residency and receive the same deal as Spanish nationals.

I wonder what others think about Mr Farage, after his outburst in the eu parliament, it makes me ashamed to be British, surely he is not helping any one with that attitude.
