What is the community like in Almoradi?

Postby 90debbie90 » Fri Feb 06, 2015 12:57 pm

My husband and I have been doing a lot of research and have finally decided that Almoradi is the place we would like to live for a year. We will be coming over in April for a week to get a feel for the place and look for long term rentals. Just a bit worried that we wont make any friends and wondered what the community was like? Would be happy to hear from anyone with good or bad comments about living in this town........thankyou :-)))

I'm about 5 minutes from Almoradi - not sure how much help that is - but if you need a friendly face and need a few local pointers, happy to help.

Hi,
Welcome to the forum. Almoradi is a very pretty town with lovely 'polo mint' trees (the shape of them, not growing polo mints LOL)

It's not far from Quesada, so you can still find out lots about the area from this forum.

Good luck for April. It's a lovely time of year in Spain. Hope you find somewhere nice to live for the year.

Look forward to seeing you on here and if you need any information about anything at all just ask. We are a friendly bunch!
8-)

Nice little place but not a lot going on!! we are in Benimar and regularly meet people who come to our area from Almoradi! both Montesol and the centre! when I asked them why they respond with my original quote, you are doing the right thing by renting, when you get over I can introduce you to the people I know from the area if you want. :)

Hi, my husband and I are travelling over at the end of April also hoping to rent for a year!! I've just been reading through the forum ( daily routine at the mo!!) and saw your post. We are looking at the Quesada area and I've been in touch with a few estate agents who have been very helpful. Please keep in touch regarding your move, wish you luck. This forum is brilliant, I've learned so much. Many thanks to everyone who contributes.
