It is interesting reading some of the replies , some for banks, some against.
It will take me some time to decide.
I’ve never had anything like your experience, must be terrible not being able to get at your own money.
What I have noticed over the years is most of the banks are OK as long as you don’t have to visit them. Hardly any one of them have any “Customer Service” attitude, something we always get in UK banks.
As an aside, how many staff on duty in Bankia Quesada?

He was talking about BANKINTER not Bankia..

La Caixa, they seem to have plenty of staff, and the bank manager is quite friendly.

What branch is this at?

I go into the branch at monty who can't point you to the cash point or get you out the door quick enough, and the one in torre is always rammed.

All banks everywhere are a bunch of self serving cretins in my opinion.

Thank you for all your replies, it’s obvious I am not alone in my views on the banks. I will check out the banks with positive reviews.
Thanks again,

Clivespana, would you mind putting on your findings on this forum as we are with Deutsche Bank and feel sure it will be closing shortly. So in a quandary as well.
