La Zenia Beach - Orihuela Costa

La Zenia Beach - Orihuela Costa

Postby Jan » Tue Mar 25, 2014 12:18 am

La Zenia Beach is on the Orihuela Costa, not far from Torrevieja. It is about a 20 to 30 minute drive from Ciudad Quesada. It is a popular beautiful fine white wide sandy beach set into a large bay.

La Zenia is an idea place to start a coastal walk as there is a pretty path going South that leads to the beach at Cabo Roig and Dehesa de Campoamor or North going to Playa Flamenca beach and Punta Prima beach.

There is a beach bar and toilet facilities (The keys are at the beach bar) on La Zenia beach and a large hotel with a cafe and restaurant to one side of the beach.

Parking is in the roads around the beach and it is free but it does get busy at certain times. Getting there early is advisable to get a decent space not too far from the beach.

The beach is not far from the Zenia Boulevard shopping centre (about 5 minutes drive from the beach). For more information about the Zenia Boulevard click here.
