Airboxspain

Postby Alisongrahame » Wed Dec 14, 2016 11:11 am

I have been using air box Spain for three years, and have been very happy with their service as it suits my requirements. They have improved and upgraded the system in this time. The question I have currently is, has anyone had any recent contact with them? Their website domain is unavailable, Facebook and twitter inactive and no reply to emails. The system is still working but wanted some advice from them. It seems they are possibly changing name? Or stopping the service so I suppose I am also now probably on the lookout for something very similar. I spend time in both Spain and the uk and the box has been great to just unplug and take to wherever we are. Any info greatly appreciated.

Would assume if you were re-branding or changing your company name, first thing you would do would be to contact your existing clients, so they could renew the service? It may well be the case they have closed their doors and service will continue until hosting period runs out.

This is a link to someone who published an article on the Airbox - whilst the article itself is out of date, it does have some contact information for the company at the bottom of the first post - also the airbox owners comments, which are more up to date, make interesting reading.

Whilst getting any hardware only is o.k (from a decent seller with good feedback) - to order the service itself blind from eBay is risky. Performance of service providers does vary considerably, so all not the same and could end up buying a poor or unstable service. Also (for example) if you buy a box with a year and have issues with the service or it goes off, you will have no come back option at all, you cannot officially complain to eBay - only if you have fault on hardware.

Additionally this type of service is illegal to sell through eBay, so if seller spotted - would be pulled (this happens quite frequently with eBay sellers and certain goods).

Around half of our IPTV business is based on existing clients from other providers, unhappy with their system and wanting to load a new service onto their existing equipment. One reason we offer from 1 & 3 month minimum on some service packages (rather than 1 year only option) - is to allow people who have had bad experiences to invest the minimum amount to see a service that does work well, in order for them to gain confidence that money is being spent well on a reliable service and they not being ripped off, after a previous bad experience.

Your welcome.

Virgin boxes, unfortunately not, they are cable boxes - and last time I looked Virgin cable was not in Quesada  Your Sky box you can use if linked to your neighbours dish & also get Sky sports on this - with the appropriate Sky subscription (you can use multi room subscription if you have in the UK or friends / family do).

There are also other methods and hardware capable of receiving Sky, either via satellite or internet.

Just by a simple android iptv box, no subscription, and get sky, bbc iplayer etc all that a subscriber based mag box will give you although I know Paul will disagree but there are many, like myself who are happy with the android box because it does what it says on the box
