Not sure if emailing them is of any use. I have sent 2 emails in the past week looking to use their services, as yet - nothing, nad, zilch, zero.
That to me is a woorying sign for when things go wrong :?

At this point I have to retract my last statement (above) and apologise. It seems that Telfy had tried to contact me. Though when my phone rang and said the number calling me was from Saudi Arabia, I decided not to answer. The second time, it also said Saudi Arabia, but I noticed it was a 966 number, so thought, thats Spain, so answered the call and all is in hand.
Telfy - I apologise.

Hi All,

Thanks for your helpful info on broadband.
we have just purchased in holiday home in Quesada. We are due to fly out there next month and hopefully sort out things like broadband, TV, and other essentials.
Does anyone know how long it takes to arrange for broadband to be fixed?
Would it be better to start the negotiation now or do it when we arrive?

I would also appreciate any information regarding Television and how it works in Spain.
Regards,
zuby.

I'd arrange it now if I were you.

I agree with Donaduo. You can fix a date with Telfy, we did ours about 8 weeks before we we came out there and arranged their engineer to fit the internet on our second day there.

Thanks TonTri and Donaduo.
I've contacted Telfy. They can offer an appt 2 weeks in advance so I've booked one to tally with our visit. The only issue I have is that they don't have fibre optic in our area and are only offering 10Mb.
€150 installation and 36€ monthly for the 'switch off' package.

Does anyone know if any provider can offer a better service?
