Local ISP issues - today 14/2/2018

Local ISP issues - NOTIFICATION.

We have received notification from Telfy and other local providers of internet issues in Costa Blanca location.

We have been advised a backbone main connection has been damaged accidentally and this provides main traffic from Madrid and is shared by a number of local internet providers.

This will have a knock on effect for all other services.

As this has now been identified, it is likely that fault will be fixed shortly.

Any TV service or connected other service you may have been experiencing problems with today - from before 10 am this morning, this issue began.

Thanks for sharing - the internet is still off (glad I'm not trying to run a business today) and using phone to write this. At least now we know what the problem is!

Ours is back and also got a few other messages saying same from others - try a reboot of the router as appears 'at the moment anyway'! To be ok.

Just as well we have 3 internet services in our office - as 2 of them were off from before 10 am this morning, until just before 3pm.

Summary - run a business in Spain, get a backup, then get a back up for your back up. :D


3 internet services to guarantee you can work - not really good enough, is it?
