mobile phone networks

Postby timeflies 1950 » Fri Jan 05, 2018 1:54 pm

Hi
Since 1st January my mobile phone network which is Orange/EE has changed to Yoiga & this has resulted in a message announcing that when I call a local number it says that I can't connect on this network, I can only receive calls & I've tried to manually change the network & Orange, Vodaphone, Movistar are all unavailable, has anyone else encountered this problem & if so is there a solution???

Hi
had similar problem on 2Jan both our I phones went into No service mode with EE/ orange luckly enough my phone went into Vodafone.es but wife's phone stayed out of service for 36 hrs called EE to try to resolve they done a full reset but to no avail called back later next day it took 50 mins for them to resolve problem
Soloution was to go to settings manually set to 3G not 4g in settings go to carrier switch off. automatic carrier and then manually select Vodafone.

Phone then picked up service so all ok

Reply if this works if not call EE call centre.

Hi
Many thanks for the info but unfortunately it didn't work nevertheless I'm going to try the orange shop in Habernas tomorrow otherwise the EE operator is ringing back on Tuesday so I might have to endure a 50 minute call. Yoigo have piggy backed on orange and they want payment for using their network, rip off!!
