Phone signal boosters

Phone signal boosters

Postby Ron Hill » Tue Sep 26, 2017 6:27 am

i have a dual sim phone 1 sim is my Vodafone uk account the other sim is my Spanish sim with Movistar
My phone connects to Vodafone Spain service and Movistar though sometimes Movistar drops out.
Recently I've started getting bad or no signal from Vodafone ES I've tried a few thing like putting the phone in safe mode and linking it to 2or 3 g instead of 4 g searching with no luck.
I make a lot of calls to UK and now thinking about a signal booster so where can I get one and more importantly do they work

They certainly work . . My daughter lives in a poor reception area in uk and got hers through Vodafone uk and completely solved her signal problems. . It uses the home wifi to boost signal somehow . . Try your mobile provider, they all seem to do them in UK.

In essence one of these devices becomes your personal cell. Only your number and any numbers you may choose to add, on that suppliers network, has exclusive use of that cell.

They are supplied by and connected to, one provider only so you'd not pick up Vodafone on a Movistar booster and, I cannot see Vodafone UK supplying you one in Spain

https://www.mobilesignalboosters.co.uk/

Used this for a problem area in UK, only 1 bar on and off - phone would only work in one corner of the room, real pain.

I'm not confident in fiddling with the firmware or software so is there a reputable phone shop who could do this for me

Within the settings the options - usually towards the bottom or in 'about phone' it has the android version, usually there is an option to update - simply by hitting update, nothing technical required - no settings change.
