I don't think Sky TV as such is available in Spain but there are plenty of other options. Just be careful what you decide to get as there have been fly by night systems which have closed down leaving people out of pocket.

You should get some good advice on this forum.
We have a very helpful guy on here called Paul who gives good advice. He advertises as TV Technology (see advert above)

Hi,

You can get full Sky, with official box, you of course it comes attached with a Sky subscription, which does cost a monthly fee (as per UK).

Internet / IPTV services are also an option if you have reasonable internet - this allows UK type features such as catch up, on demand type content as well as the regular / premium channels - though also subscription based service - cheaper than Sky.

Free to air - non subscription is available by satellite, no monthly fees for the UK terrestrials - one off cost.

We can offer service / guidance on all types of TV systems, UK & International.

Brightonsuperwoman

Yes you can get UK TV - Freesat channels / Sky / Catch up - below is link to one of the most popular services, also incorporates much on demand content as well, similar to Netflix (we offer other packages too, all on our main website) https://tvtech.sharepoint.com/Pages/britishiptv.aspx this requires no dish, connects to the internet, portable set top box, works worldwide. If you go for this type of service chances are you won't need Netflix as well, as most of the content will be duplicated.

Also if you are allowed to put a dish up on the community roof / terrace area - you could also have the option of a satellite dish, which will give you all the UK TV free to air channels, with no further subscriptions (but no Sky / on demand / catch up). It is also possible to share a dish - depending on equipment / set up used, you can share from 1 neighbour to an entire apartment block off a single dish, so only need one per apartment block - if anyone else wants, always a possibility (+ it's nice to share).

If you do not want to pay monthly descriptions then you could go for the Freesat system. This gives you all the free to air channels in the UK plus many more but not Sky of course apart from Sky news . There are no dedicated sports channels. You would need a satellite dish and the Freesat tuner. It really depends on whether this service gives you all the channels that you desire. I suggest you look at the SatandPCguy.com website if this service is of interest to you.

Hello Paul,
I did not think that your 1 liner adequately described the Freesat system, that is why I added my comments.
I referred the enquirer to the SatandPCguy.com website to get further information and the list of available channels.
I did not suggest that the enquirer used him for installing the equipment.

To N & J
There is also 'Go Satellite' on Los Arcos in Quesada who also offer a satellite system without monthly payments. You could see it demonstrated at their shop at that location and see what channels are available. I don't think that they offer the Freesat tuner though.
Incidentally they have a full page advert in a free local paper so I am surprised that you did not know about them.

Go satellite installs sat dishes like the others do. The do provide a freesat tuner (it would be a bit pointless without it unless you have it installed in your TV).
You can view the list of channels available on freesat.co.uk
