We have the Engel one on two of our TVs, comes with a separate remote and remote eye. Very discrete behind the TV, only negative is the user interface is a little dated and therefore not the most user friendly, but I would still recommend.

The Spanish satellite boxes don't normally show a full EPG or give details of the programme. Some only give the programme you are watching or the current and next programme. Even some of the cheaper UK Freesat ones only do now and next programme.
For watching Freesat you really need a Freesat set top box to get all the facilities.
How "small" are you looking for"?
The new Humax HB1100s is only 17x20x4cm.

The GI minis should have a lead to the box which you bring to the front of the tv when you mount it on the back of the tv to enable the remote to communicate with the box ..!!.
