Our choice of providers are very limited.

Movistar have offered 3.5MB but will only guarantee 1MB and they reduce the speed once you have downloaded 5MB per month: out of the question.

Telfly in Rojales offer up to 10MB but there is no guarantee that the service will be any better than Telecable.

Other than that I do not know of any provider who cover San Luis/El Chaparral/La Siesta using WIMAX.

The only other option is 4G in Casa from Orange, but again that is capped to 35GB and then the speed is reduced, again a non starter really.

So unless you can give me any other options we will just have to put up with snags with our current system.

BTW I notice that you offer a service, using your updated MAG box, where you can watch reduced quality television during times of poor internet reception, could this be an option for us?

General feedback on Telfy positive. We have as one of our services and ok as is Telitec (which we install) - both ok Telfy 9-10 and ok with IPTV or certainly currently and Telitec 8Mbps odd also ok.

We have a couple of services which have the slower speed content, however - is on a limited channel selection - so the super slow speeds do not have the premium content - main terrestrial channels BBC, ITV etc - these will work down to 0.7Mbps. So is designed for this type of problematic issue, but limited channels.

A satellite dish, requires no internet for FTA TV - or if using official Sky box / service. As soon as you want Sky, without an official box, into realms of alternative services, all of which require internet / degree of stability.
