Hi Stavanger,

Yes there is a bus to Guardamar, we used it recently - Here's a link to all the details:

Hope this helps.

Thanks Jan. Does it let you off anywhere near the beach in Quesada, or do you think a large taxi would be a better option for us?

A large taxi would definitely be the better option, if you can get one, to bring all your stuff plus it will get you nearer to the beach, if you can't get it all in the car.

I must admit I missed the bit about the stuff you'll be bringing down to the beach - We only use the bus for a day out, rather than a day at the beach.

We always mange all our stuff in a smallish car though, even when there are four of us. 2 large sun umbrella's, a large cool-bag, 4 lightweight sun-loungers and a big beach bag of towels and other paraphernalia....what more do you need?

Re: Guardamar by bus from Quesada - Tried and tested!

Friends of ours recently used Quesada Taxi to get to Guardamar beach. They were charged €15 from Laguna Hotel and he gave them a card for Guardamar Taxi to ring to come home.

I tried to catch a bus from Quesada to Guardamar this morning. They must be on summer timetable now. There isn't a 10.50 bus only at 9.20 and that is all. There is no return at 18.00 only 19.15. The subsequent taxis cost me 14€ going and 15€ return.

Hi juana,
:text-welcomewave:
Welcome to TalkQuesada.

That is typical of Spanish bus companies to change the times to be more inconvenient just when the Summer arrives and more people may like to use the bus to the beach!! I know that in June the bus time are all updated for Summer but they usually don't and shouldn't change that much.

I am pleased you told us as we were going to use that bus again next week- I will try to get an updated timetable but, from what you say, there's not much point using the bus because who wants to go to the Guardamar, even as a day out like we did, and have to be ready at 9.30 and not come back until 19.15. It's ridiculous!

Edited 17.25 - Just had a thought - There was definitely a bus around 13.00hrs last Summer, after the 09.30am bus.
I will check for you.

Hi,
I just checked and the Summer timetable has a bus going from Quesada at 13.00hrs, as well as the 09.20 bus. Here's the timetable link. The Summer timetable (Verano) is headed in Pink:

Hi Shaun,

No, Quesada is not within walking distance to the beach. It's 10 minutes by car to the nearest beach which is Guardamar.
