Thanks Angie,

Very interested in this as we like cycling but as long as they don't go on main roads - I don't do main roads or any roads with cars on if I can help it! :text-lol:

:text-lol: I would lose my balance - I wobble if a car goes past me so I'm only safe on separate cycle lanes...oh... unless another bike passes me!

There are some massive ditches alongside the cycle lane to Torrevieja and I'm sure one day I'm going to wobble and fall into one. I still love cycling though.

Hi Angie,

Thanks for the information about the new cycle club, this is something we planned to do this year so will probably give it a go. Do you know if you have to book a place or just turn up on the day?

Hi Angie,

Just emailed Gary and got a very quick response, you just need to turn up on the day.

Hi Laura and anyone who was on the cycle ride,

Unfortunately today we had a last minute bike brake problem. We really should have checked the bikes earlier as one of us (not me!) spent the best part of the morning fixing it.

Next Wednesday we are in Granada but we really do hope to join the cycle group on a ride sometime. Can anyone who went on it tell us how it went and what kind of route it was? - taking into account my limitations.

Hi Jan,

I was too busy at work and never made it on Wed but hope to be there next week. Will keep you updated of the type of route if I'm there.
