Language classes/courses/tuition: Spanish and English

Postby tor » Fri Oct 07, 2016 11:45 am

Hola!

I am looking for Spanish classes from January 2017 in the Quesada area. I am a beginner and looking for conversational Spanish or a more in depth/academic course - perhaps IGCSE level even. Are there any language centres in Quesada? I have searched online but not seen any listed...

I am also an English teacher, tutor and CIE/IGCSE examiner so am interested in centres offering English also, to whom I may offer my services.

Hope someone can help

Hello,
I had some great lessons in Benijofar . Five euros an hour . On the main road there is a huge advertisement, so it's relatively easy to find.. I am an English/ RE teacher too, so welcome!

Berlingua language school on Dona Pepa, behind the supermarket are very good. You can have one to one lessons, or small classes if you prefer. They can teach to any level, and you learn grammar as well as conversation.

Because they also teach English you might get lucky if they have any vacancies. Anita, the girl on Reception is very helpful. She's English but also bilingual with Spanish.

Highly highly recommend Alan who has classes at Catorce Restaurant in Benijofar. I believe a new class is starting next week or the week after. If it is full you can put your name down on a waiting list.

I have been to other 2 other places for lessons since coming to Spain eighteen months ago, and I have learnt more, and feel more confident to try and use Spanish when out and about since having classes with Alan.

His method really works if you are starting from scratch. With Alan you learn what you need to get by and not what you don't, really useful.

Also if you miss a week, for whatever reason, you can pay to have the lesson emailed to you so you do not fall behind.

Agree 100% with this poster. Alan 's classes are great and he couldn't be more helpful.

I go too to Alan's classes and couldn't agree more with the two posters above. The classes are fun and informative, the best I've been to in my 10 years living in Spain.

Thank you all for your considered replies. General consensus certainly seems to lean towards Alan in Benijofar and Berlingua. Brilliant!

If you do pop in to talk to Anita at Berlingua, she'll be happy for you to sit in on a class ( for free) to see if it's what you were looking for.
