Rio Safari Park Elche worth a visit

We visited Rio Safari Park today and used the discount voucher from their website. For four adults and a child age 6 it cost 53 euros. Well worth a visit. Discount on website Is until 8 March.

It is in many ways- but I was appalled at the poor Orang Utan alone in his cage, hiding under a huge palm leaf looking deeply depressed - and the elephant is also solitary. Both of these are sociable animals and are lonely and miserable. Personally I wouldn't go back.

When did you last go as there are three orangutans together in a very large area. There are no elephants.
