Car Hire from Alicante Airport

Car Hire from Alicante Airport

Postby hillsey » Sat Jun 21, 2014 4:30 pm

Hi, Looking for a recommendation of car hire service from Alicante airport. I've heard some horror stories of some companies ramping up charges on arrival.
So if anyone can help we would be greatful to hear them.

Many thanks.

Hello Hillary
We use Eddie at Arrow he is based in Quesada.

We only hire very small car, not brand new cars but always clean.
He has some one meet you at airport, holds a sign with your name on they take you to the car on the multi storey which attached to airports min. Walk, you sign contract has fuel in just about half I think you give back same. Have hired three times now, and have booked again for our next trip in two weeks. Always away quick good service. You leave the car with keys locked in boot on same car park on your way back.
We have loomed at all others but although arrows cars are not brand new we felt it was so smooth running and suited us we didn't want to try others.
Have a look, just Google Arrow Quesada send them e mail

Hi, last month we hired a goldcar when we were handed the key it was all taped up the girl at the desk just laughed when we pointed it out, the car was in a terrible state all scratched and dented again we pointed this out and took photographs, yesterday our card bill came in with an extra 115 euros taken for the broken key, we have emailed them to say the key was in that state when we got it........will keep you posted as to what happens but beware!!!!!

Thanks for the heads up. I've read a few bad reviews on Goldcar so you've just confirmed there not to be used. Hope you get everything sorted.
Thanks Again

:) Been to Quesada a few times now and coming again in September - have always used Budget as they are by far the most price competitive and altho you get collected from the airport (we always use Murcia) it is onlya few minutes to the depot. cars are in good nick, staff are friendly and Budget dont play dirty tricks when returning car....we have used them in the States as well and always found them to be OK. worth considering if finances are tight.
