we are thinking of driving our van over to Spain
does anyone know if vans are treated as commercial insurance or do they come under car insurance if not being used as commercial.
plus is it beneficial to purchase a vehicle in Spain and insure it there or buy one in the UK and insure in the UK or maybe insure it in Spain
we are confused as what to do for the best

Yes, insurancewise vans can be considered as car insurance, unless registered with a company name. In this case it would classify as commercial.

There are also certain companies in Spain that accept UK plates.
