My wife mastered driving on the right in an afternoon, something the spanish dont seem to be able to do even after years in the road
Just beware of people turning left or right and failing to use indicators as it hasn't really caught on here yet

Bunty, I recently was in the exact same position. It really depends on what time of day you will be driving. I was just beginning to get used to tootling about in an automatic then we changed for manual. At first I found it horrendous but have gradually got used to it. My preference would be N332. Ignore what's behind you if they want to speed past they will but that's their problem. The motorway for me is more fast and more complicated. I can now do the airport which is progress as I am limited to routes I know, la zenia, doing the back roads, Iceland I can also manage and I managed to get up to fifth gear! The first time I did the airport I managed to drive all the way back then drove the car into the gate pillar getting onto the drive, ouch!! I haven't done it since though!! I honestly didn't think I would ever drive in Spain and it took 2 years to pluck up the courage to try but I am getting used to it and am sure you will too.
