Is there a car insurance brokers in Quesada?

Hi all I'm coming to quesada next week to buy a car , just wondering if I could just walk in and get insurance , straight away and what documents would I need , or is it best just to phone up a big company and get covered , but prefer to give a local company a try .. thanks in advance glynn

Hi Liberty Seguros is on the road at the side of the Bells restaurant and another agent next door I think I found liberty the cheapest and if you take out another insurance with them like home they give you 10% off the next policy as an existing customer so saved quite a bit. You will need driving licence also best if you can show them no claims details and you need bank details including Iban & swift details. and NIE No and proof of address.

Also Mapfre on the Consum complex. Or you can ring LInea Directa, they have an English line you can Google. If you haven't got a NCD certificate they will accept a copy of your existing UK policy.

I would recommend sosinsurance Jayne 622275561 or Tracey 686116297 ... they sort-out good insurance deals (all types) for me.

Loads of choices Glynn. There is also one next door to Yorkshire Linen near the Crazy Golf bar on Calle Los Arcos (turn left just before entering the Arches.
They also do discounts for multi-policies. Just take details of the car you are buying. Good luck.

Do not pay by direct debit for your car insurance the company next to Yorkshire linen took 294 euros from my account when I left them for a cheaper insurer and refused to return my money so be warned.

Pay by debit card or cash. Be aware that companies also never tell you the renewal info till last minute yet, if you don't want to use them again, it's an unwritten law here that you have to give then two months notice of leaving them.

I paid Caja de Seguros by credit cardbut they set up a direct debit without my knowledge as far as I am concerned its theft keep well clear of them

If you paid by credit card, as far as I know, they could not have set up a direct debit as direct debits come from bank accounts. They would need bank account details from you to set up a direct debit. If the payment was taken from your credit card without your knowledge/authorisation then your credit card company should refund you, that's why credit cards are a safer way to pay.
