Mercedes Approved Bodywork Paint Repairs

Mercedes Approved Bodywork Paint Repairs

Postby Heid the ba » Sun Jan 08, 2017 3:01 am

I scuffed the paintwork on my 2yr old Mercedes ML rear bumper. Can anyone recommend a bodyshop who would do a high standard paint/ bodywork repair? I dont want a bodger doing the job, it has to be done by a professional.

Good luck finding one. My advice is just leave it as it'll get scuffed again!

That's good advice!
In the UK it's worth getting done but from how I've seen the Spanish park in Spain, I would leave it as it is too. They use bumpers to gauge that they are in the parking space..bumping back and forth on the bumpers until they've got in the space.

We would be shocked to see this happen in the UK but it's life in Spain! One Spanish lady came into the supermarket car park next to us,just as we had parked, and didn't stop until she had hit the bumper of the car in front causing the other car to shake and rattle and then she got out and went shopping. We sat there open mouthed in shock but now we see it quite often. If the space isn't quite big enough they make it big enough by shunting back and forth - Watch for this around beach parking when it's busy. You just can't be too precious with cars in Spain. Another reason why its a good idea for everyone hiring cars to take out excess insurance.

I used www. mercedes -vegar.es/ in Elche for a bodywork repair on my ML350 I had done last year. They were good to deal with and did a really good job but at Merc prices.
