Our car is 4 years old this year and is in need of it`s 1st ITV. Do they automatically send the documentation through to the registered address or do I just take it down to the ITV station?

I have an old car that needs annual ITV's. I don't get a reminder of when it's due.
I guess if you bought your car new from a dealer then they might send you a reminder, but I wouldn't rely on it.
I'd probably take it along to the ITV test station a few days before it's 4th birthday and get it tested. The next test will then be due exactly 2 years from the first test.

Pete.

Thanks, in the past we have had older cars (even importing one and getting it legal) but this is the first time we have had a new one and there is no paperwork for them to stamp it, I am presuming you get that at the ITV station. Will go down just before its due :text-thankyouyellow:
