I always say a similar thing as a reminder "passenger side to the kerb".

One of the things I noticed was that I wasn't looking in the rear view mirror. I was looking up to the left out of habit but if course the mirror wasn't there. I had to force myself to look up to the right. It all comes naturally now as it will to you in a very short space of time - good luck!

Another thing. My experience shows Spanish drivers to be mainly courteous but not very aware of others around them. I have not seen any impatience or road rage, unlike in UK.

Just be careful around the urnanizations. Although some roads have right of way, the markings are often worn and faded and the holiday makers don't always know. Always slow down when approaching a junction....don't assume right of way

Even though I've driven in Germany and Spain for many years, I still got in my car the other day on the passenger side and felt a bit silly when there was no steering wheel.
