I tried to put my application through a Gestoria - namely Sol 4 in Benimar. So far I have waited 16 months, and still no sign of my Spanish license! I have now decided to give up and get my UK license renewed.

I have been waiting over three years. Check out the Guardia Civil on Facebook N332.

I am a DIY sort of person. Down loaded the forms, booked an appointment on line to take my paperwork in (November) December had a letter from them to say go back and collect. Went back in December only to be told that they would post it. Late January the postman delivered it so on reading the comments above, mine took no time at all!

Forgot to say mine was not renewing it, it was changing my UK paper license for a Spanish one.
