Charanga parade - Rojales - Saturday October 10th 2015

A traditional *Charanga will be held in Rojales on the Saturday October 10th, 2015 at 21:30hrs in honour of the Virgen del Rosario, patron saint of Rojales.

The start of the parade will be from the health centre in Rojales. Anyone wanting to take part should register in the Information Office of Rojales by October 5th.

During the charanga there will be a Contest on INSTAGRAM. For this they ask you to put up the photos that you may be doing during the charanga with the hashtag # vrcharangarojales2015

The winning photo will receive a prize!

*Charanga is a name sometimes given to represent a musical band, with wind and percussion instruments, which typically plays during popular festivals. It can also mean a 'loud party'!

As a child of the 60's I prefer the 'loud party' description.
