Day of the innocents in Ibi 28th December.

Thursday is the 'day of the innocents' - Spanish April fool's day - and Ibi hosts its annual flour & eggs battle.
Starting at 10am the town gets literally battered as eggs and flour are liberally thrown until they run out of ammunition when foam fire extinguishers are set off and squibs and rockets are then used.
Great fun, although early start as Ibi is around an hour's drive up the A-7 motorway near Alcoi.
