Easter processions
Easter processions

Does anyone know if the roads where tonight's procession in Rojales goes will be closed to traffic at all, as they are in the UK before and during events?
I've tried looking on the Ayuntamiento's website but couldnt see anything on there relating to the processions.

I'm sure you will get some helpful advice on here where to park to avoid the main road through Rojales and the procession route if you are not sure.
We always go through Quesada, past the Aqua park and then park the car around the urbanisation near the Crematorium area just outside Rojales and walk down the Crematorium road that leads into the main road (Calle Constitucion) running through Rojales. It's a short walk depending where you want to view the procession but the Crematorium road is steep so may not be suitable for those less able.
This parking place avoids the crowds and procession and is easier when going home as the aftermath of the procession can last quite late and be difficult to get through if parked inside Rojales itself.
PS If taking children it's a good idea to take a small carrier bag or similar for them to hold, as there are usually sweets given out to the children.

Thanks Jan. Martin has already suggested the main car park although we were planning on going about 5:30pm and hoping to park on Malecon del Carmen. It should be ok to get out of there to the new bridge and then to La Marquesa. If we can't park there we will use the car park.
I thought we could get something to eat while waiting for the procession to start and then watch from by the old bridge. Very much looking forward to it as it will be our first Spanish "fiesta".

Probably already asked and answered - but when does the Rojales procession start and finish?

This evening's procession starts at 7pm. I don't know when it finishes though, one of the other posters might be able to help you with that.
Martin the Artist has put a copy of the poster on here on an earlier post under the same topic.
