Hi Jan, thanks for that - very helpful :D

I've decided to drive into Rojales on Saturday morning to have a quick look around and hopefully get my bearings a little. From what you and others have posted I'll hopefully find everything easily - although me being me, I'm not so sure sometimes ;)

It's a very hot day today and should be a lovely warm night, perfect for a fiesta.

Just a reminder that the procession is set to start at 8pm in Rojales tonight (Saturday 28th) and at 'around' 9pm tomorrow (Sunday) will be the silent 'solemn' procession.

Enjoy the weekend everyone and if you get time, tell us how it went and maybe put some photos in the gallery, we'd love to see them!

Now back home in the UK. Had a drive into Rojales during Saturday day time but didn't end up going to the fiesta so no photos - sorry. We did far more 'chilling' than we thought we would! Have had a lovely time in Quesada but it went over far too quickly! At least I've now less than a month to my next trip over :D

They start tomorrow evening with the storming of the man made castle in front of the musem. On Friday night when there is a Charanga its like a carnival. On Saturday and Sunday evenings are the Moors and Christians processions which are well worth seeing, starts approx. 9pm.

Yes the Moors and Christians parade in Rojales is well worth seeing - It's usually spectacular!

The programme of all the events and the main procession are on this link:
