Hi all,

Do any of you wonderfully helpful members know if there is a map of the route for Saturday 28th and Sunday 29th June? I haven't yet explored Rojales so wouldn't have a clue :!:

Just downloaded the calendaring actos festivos (link supplied by Sara19 thanks) this information is great. I can now see that the fiesta starts on the weekend of the 28 June with the storming of the castle taking place on the Thursday 3 July, summer carnival parade on Friday 4 July & the Grand Parade of Moors & Christians takes place on Saturday 5& Sunday 6 July. Thanks for this information.

Hi,
Rojales is quite a small town and it's very easy to see the route that the procession takes, by all the chairs lining the streets (there is a charge by the council to use the chairs). However, you can take your own fold up chairs or if there early enough you can sit on the walls all along the river or on the bridge which has some concrete seating but that generally fills up quickly.

From the entrance to the town from the Benijofar area, there is a main street (Avda de las Cortes Valencianas) and the procession starts by going down this street all the way to the main bridge that goes over the river. Then the procession goes over the bridge and into the town on the other side of the river, where it finishes.
It's easier to park outside the town and walk in, as it can be difficult getting out of Rojales at the end of the evening.

Jan.
