Fire run & burning of the hoguera 20th June

From the church square at 9.30pm, fire becomes art, culture, tradition and spectacle!
Those wishing to join in are recommended to wear hats and old clothes.

The fire will be taken to light the hoguera at 11pm
(And be prepared to get wet when the firemen decide to water the cowd too!

And apologies that this 'burning' photo was shot in Guardamar.)

Leaves Rojales church square to the site of the hoguera which will be on crossroads of c/Maestro José Serrano & c/ Maestro Ventura - almost opposite Mercadona - from Friday evening 17th.

They have decided to be more specific about wearing protective clothing - obviously don't want anyone getting burnt!
It says:-
Wear cotton clothing with sleeves and long trousers.
Cotton hat & scarf to cover the neck & sports shoes.
Follow any instructions & respect the fire figures, their carriers and the musicians.
