Music at the caves in September

Music at the caves in September

Postby Martin the artist » Sun Sep 04, 2016 8:51 am

There will be one more Friday night music session at the caves bar, which will be a jam session from 10pm to midnight on Friday 9th September.
If you play an instrument, you're welcome to bring it and join in too.

And on Saturdays 10th, 17th, 24th & 1st October, there will be live music in the picnic area there next to Abram's Tetera cave from 10pm till midnight.
(And a chance to sample some of his mojitos too I expect!)
From the car park area, just take the first path on the right, orwalk down the steps from the road beside the school.

We have visitor coming from Australia and would like to show them the caves. Are they open during the day in September? We took some people up in July and nothing was open.

There should be some of the caves open every day between about 11am and 2pm - except perhaps on Mondays & Sundays.
But the bar opens many days - depending on if Carlos has had a good night! - from around midday, and they often have something going on like a Spanish poetry reading at the bar on a Sunday.
Abram is often open in his teteria in the evening - tea room (unofficial).
The information cave (no 6) should be manned Tuesday to Friday by Marie-Jesus between 10am & 2pm - & she can tell you who may be there too; and she'll open the Sala mengolero exhibition hall (cave 4) for you, if it isn't open. to see the latest exhibition.
AndCarmen, leaher worker cave 5, is usually there everyday until 2pm.
