Thanks for the information.
We went to our first Easter Parade in Spain last year and we were not expecting what we did see at all. They really do make an effort, and our children were very shocked (yet pleased) at having sweets thrown at them and being given to them, our pockets were too full as we didn't know this was going to happen so didn't have any kind of bag.
Is was good to see the Spanish not ignoring the tourists too, to a degree.

So todays top tip :- if your'e taking your children to see an Easter Parade, take a bag :D

Hi, we went to Rojales. We missed the Torrevieja one, well, got caught up in the road closures by accident as we didn't know these events were so large.
If a small place like Rojales makes such an effort, I wonder what the bigger city ones are like?

The Torrevieja Easter Parades are amazing but you need to go really early to get parked. It gets very crowded. Well well the effort though.

The Pasos(Floats) are carried out from the Main Church. A good place to watch from. If you look at Page 5 of this topic you will see last years routes and times.
I expect this years Itinerary will be published soon. Probably the same.
You should be able to get information from the Tourist Office. Ask for a Torrevieja Map if you havnt got one.
Very late nights but well worth it.
