For those that missed it, here's what happened - hope I got the jist of it OK.
First the various comparsas marched to the bridge from the market ground and assembled either side.

Then each leader walked onto the bridge & lined up.

Then the war of words started with each side acting out a long script which was quite humorous I gather from the laughter of the Spanish folk around.
Meanwhile they were approaching each other on the bridge and battle started - a bit half-heartedly compared to the battles in July!

Then they cooled off realising that a bridge was meant to bring together peoples, culture, arts, etc. & so they all shook hands and hugged and walked off together with bands playing to the Malecón del Soto.

There the group leaders assembled on stage.

and the municiple dance school then provided dance entertainment.
