Palm Sunday 20th March

11:30 Procession of the Palms, starting from the Lo Torre along Consitution, Cortes Valencianas, Valentin Fuster, Gratiniano, Baches, Francisco Serrano, Puente de Carlos III, San Antonio, Plaza de Espana, Joaquin Gonzalez finishing on Paseo Iglesia.

19:00 Procession de las Mantillas, starting from the church Iglesia de San Pedro Apostol along Paseo, Joaquin Gonzalez, Plaza de Espana, San Antonio, Puente Carlos III, Fco. 09:00 Mass at the Iglesia de San Pedro Apostol

10:00-14:00 Exhibition of the statues used in the Easter Parades at the Iglesia de San Pedro Apostol

11:30 Procession Encuentro along Joaquin Gonzales, Callejon de la Iglesia, Rafael Araez, Plaza de Espana where the other statues join the procession and continue along San Antonio, Malecon del Carmen, Jose Zaragoza Senent finishing on Paseo.

12:00 Mass at the church - Iglesia de San Pedro Apostol

Thanks Jan, I always wanted to see thecEaster parades, so now I can plan something around these dates.

The parades are great for such a small town but for me the best bit is when they have the mass up at the crosses at midnight... it`s all very moving. There are hundreds of people up there to watch the effigies of Jesus and the other two slowly rise up to the crossbars etc....
