One of Torrevieja’s most successful Tapas Routes runs twice a year around the city centre.

The Torrevieja’s Tapas Route 2015 will be celebrated Thursday to Sunday, From 16th to 19th April and 23th to 26th April 2015.

The time schedule for this Tapas Route will be from 12pm to 4.30 pm and from 7.30 pm to 11 pm.

Your vote will be stamped in at least ten establishments!!

It’s a fun and inexpensive way to spend an afternoon or evening, touring the centre of Torrevieja and discovering some of the hidden delights of the city. All participants can vote for their favourite Tapa, and in doing so, after you have collected 10 official stamps on the Tapas Route Card, be entered into a prize draw for a number of great prizes. A great event that many other local communities have also copied, and it is a success wherever it is held.

Route maps can usually be obtained in the Tourist Offices or the Town Hall.

Hi. Never been on a tapas trail and just wondered what it entails and is it suitable for kids as young as 5 years old. The torrevieja trail is perfect dates for us to have a look this year. Thanks...

It's good fun. All Tapas Routes are similar -You can visit any of the bars on the list and have a drink and a Tapas included for the set price at the time. You can usually pick up a leaflet, with a list of the bars taking place and a map for location, at the local town hall or Tourist offices (Torrevieja has a brilliant Tourist office).

You can then have your leaflet stamped at each bar you go into and can vote for your favourite Tapa. There will be instructions on there as to where to place your vote paper and there is a prize draw later when the Tapas Route has finished.

It's not compulsory to do the Tapas Route in any order or even have a leaflet to be stamped. You can just visit one or two and ask for the Tapa with a drink offer. None of the ones we have been to have asked to stamp a leaflet and we haven't had one with us, as we have mostly gone on the off-chance.

Not sure that it would be enjoyable for little ones, some may get bored, but there is no reason why they shouldn't go as there are soft drinks plus Tapas included in the offer.

Enjoy - Wish we were there!

Thanks for the info. We have a similar thing in England. Its called a pub crawl. (only joking) Sounds like good fun. Will pop into Quesada town hall and see if I can get a route map. I think our little boy will enjoy it. Thanks...
