We just bought an orange tree from Valentins Garden Centre yesterday. A lovely looking tree for €15, also bought a Duranta and some cacti. Lots of plants and pots in stock and cheaper than the one on Lemon Tree Road (Christians).

They are just on the left as you go off the roundabout from Quesada to Los Montesinos.

We bought an orange tree at Christians Garden Centre. The person we spoke to was German (I think) who spoke excellent English and gave us lots of helpful information regarding our tree and another one which we had previously bought elsewhere but seemed to have been eaten by snails.

Hi. If you're a keen gardener you might like to visit our club - Vega Baja Garden Club. We meet at Bar Trasgu in Formentera del Segura on the first Monday of every month. You can come along and see what you think, although the next meeting in December is totally unrelated to gardening as it's our Xmas meeting and we'll be having a quiz and everyone brings along a small plate of food which we share. Have a look at our Facebook page (Vega Baja Garden Club) and look at some of the info shown about previous meetings. An added benefit to becoming a member is that your membership card will give you a discount at three local garden centres (Valentins, Christians and Natur Plant). If you want any more information, please get in touch with me.
