Is Euromarina responsible?

Is Euromarina responsible?

Postby Flynny1 » Thu Feb 22, 2018 7:30 am

Hi everyone, I am new to the site but we have owned a house here for 7 years. To the rear of our house is an alleyway that turns into a river during heavy rainfalls and our backyard floods causing damage to the yard walls and paintwork. This is due to the yard being lower than the alleyway. Is this the responsibility of the people who built the house or is it up to me to raise the height of the yard?

Has anyone else had the same problem.

Hi Flynny1 and welcome,

I don't know the answer to your query, but suggest you ask at your local Town Hall. It could be that the builders didn't comply with their planning permission and/or building plans, so I would suggest that's your starting point.
