They owned MASA, which went into receivership last year I believe. But that was probably one of many companies

They didn't own Masa, sorry. One of the family was a director of Grupo Masa, the builders who are still in business. Masa International are a separate company and I still see their vehicles around but they were simply an agent (albeit a large one) for the builder Justo Quesada and many others too..
The company Justo Quesada still exist and the owner was Jose Angel Quesada but he has now given control to his new wife Maria, although he is still in the office. The offices in Quesada centre are knocked down and the company is now developing the land as another comercial centre under a different name "Metanoia" or something similar.
You can find justo Quesada's office above the golf club house in the office called "Sharehold" which is the parent company. They are still responsible for the building company and are in fact still building under the power cables in Atalaya area of Quesada.

Newchocs there were two companies with a similar name Masa International and Grupo Masa. The later built the Urb I used to live on and they have gone bankrupt. At one stage I was paying bills to Justo and Manoli. masa was Owned by the same man/family that built Quesada. As I said it was one of many companies.

Isn't that what I just said lol? But Grupo Masa is owned by a different part of the family than Justo Quesada (cousins) and didn't have anything to do with Justo Quesada. Grupo Masa are still selling houses, which would indicate that they are not bankrupt. Look at their website www.masa.eu
It's a large family, but in general they don't talk to each other, so the companies Justo Quesada, Euromarina and many others are different owners. The two Masas have nothing to do with each other, as I said in my previous post. Masa International were just a real estate agent Grupo Masa were builders.
The complicated lives of a complicated family lol..

I stand corrected but the Masa company that built Camposol where I lived have gone bankrupt, there have been lots of legal problems with homes that have been bought and lived in not being registered by Masa as being built or even sold and so the receivers have been assessing "assets, very worrying for some of the poor owners

Justo Quesada died years ago unfortunately. His son José Angel owns QSD the real estate agent and Justo Quesada the building company, as well as the golf course and several other companies for land ownership etc. None of these companies have gone bankrupt, they just close offices and relocate assets etc, but Justo Quesada, the building company, still exist, working from the office above the club house at La Marquesa and are presently constructing in Atalaya, almost under the power cables.
As for a new name, they're still called Justo Quesada, but the office is called Sharehold, which is the administrating parent company.
And as for Grupo Masa, they're one of the worst constructors around, using mostly prefabricated concrete construction and delivering very poor quality homes. Camposol was a disaster and I feel sorry for you if you bought there.. luckily it sounds like you no longer live there so good for you. Grupo Masa aren't bankrupt, they still operate, build and sell houses in Gran Alacant, but they've not improved their quality or workmanship at all. They had different sub-companies for each development and in camposol they had so many problems that they must be hiding from all their clients. I'm amazed they are still allowed to build today, ridiculous.

I lived in Camposol for over 12yrs, as you say lots of probs with build construction, illegal builds. And people who invested their life savings into their home in the sun to find years down the line that the construction had never been registered. On paper their homes never existed and as the company had so many debts they found embargoes mounting to thousands, on the homes placed there by the courts. People are trying to fight it in the courts, paying more money to show the house exists, belongs to them and they have been living there! A total mess. We were lucky our house was fine. The Urb has issues but not all homes and streets are affected and many are beautiful. We didn't move because of this we just decided it was time to be nearer more facilities.

I'm glad you managed to get out, but I feel sorry for everyone there and in their other developments like Montemar, Montecid and especially Sierra Golf. Even those that don't have direct problems are affected, because the value of their homes is obviously damaged by the bad reputation. Such a shame.
