Pay as you go Air Con

I am thinking about renting my holiday home next year and I have more than 1 air conditioning unit in the property. I have a concern that people may have all of the air con on at the same time then I will get a huge electricity bill after they have left the house.
Is there a way I can add a meter or something to make the air con pay as you go?

We got our meter from Eurometer ( Google Eurometer) it cost 270 euros and it was delivered from Almeria by UPS. My husband fitted it himself as it comes with fitting instructions. You can set the rate per kW cost yourself and it takes 1 and 2 euros coins.
