Hospital Appointment

Hi all im after advice once more,next week i have a hospital appointment at Torrevieja hospital,while i have been before we had our translater with us and when we went into the waiting room she did something with my paperwork at a machine which issued us with a ticket i must admit i was not taking much notice and this time we are going without the translater but no paperwork i just got a call from the hospital about my appontment,can anyone advise what to do at this machine please.

There is a machine with a barcode reader which your translator would have scanned. If you haven't got an appointment slip, you have to enter the number on your SIP card and it will tell you what room and what time. Don't worry, they have instructions in English on how to do it. If you have any problems, go down to reception (one floor down from the ground floor) and they will tell you what to do. Don't forget to take a number from the machine on the right of reception or they won't deal with you even if there is no-one in front of you.
You then sit outside the room it tells you to go to and your number comes up on the electronic reader outside the room.
You will find it very slick and efficient and you won't be waiting long.
