Registering Health Form S1

Registering Health Form S1

Postby Roy Dainty » Mon May 08, 2017 9:37 am

I have my temporary SIP and now have a form S1 coming from the UK's DWP. Can anyone advise where I take my S1 in order to register it and obtain my permanent SIP? Many thanks

Rojales town hall. There is a lady by the lift who will deal with it all for you. You need have an in date padron (within 3 months) which you can get upstairs and she will issue you a temporary card until the permanent one arrives.
She used to be there every morning but I believe she's only there a couple of days a week now. The days were posted on here but I can't find it.
Anyone??

Found it. Apparently she's only there now on Mondays and Thursdays in the morning.

Can I go to Rojales for the SIP card? I live in Lo Crispin, which is part of Algorfa/Almoradi

I doubt if the lady at Rojales would see you as your Padron would not be issued there
In think you need to go you the ayuntamiento where your Padron was issued
I may be wrong but somebody will know

Not sure. The lady that works at the Rojales town hall actually works for the dept of health and deals with Torrevieja hospital and cards are received from Orihuela. You would, of course, have to have a padron from your own town hall but she might be able to deal with them. Ask at Algorfa town hall as they may have their own system.

We have recently moved to Lo Crispin and have been informed that we have to obtain our residency before registering the S1 forms. For residency we need to provide a bank statement to prove that we have sufficient income in Spain to support ourselves, along with NIE, padron Certificate, house deeds, passports, etc. Therefore we need to wait until our U.K. pensions are being deposited, then obtain our Residency at Orihuela police station, finally going to Almoradi to register the S1 forms. A lot of paperwork but worth the effort!
