Sip card held up. Can I go to urgencia
Sip card held up. Can I go to urgencia
by Bobbiet » Sat Aug 27, 2016 4:44 pm
Posting on behalf of a friend. Her husband has a works contract and both he and his wife have applied for a sip cards but not yet arrived.
The wife needs medical attention now. She is under the impression that she would have to pay 100€ if she goes to urgencia. Please can anyone advise.
Thanks

When i applied for mine, they gave me a temporary sip card to cover the time it would take for the permanent one. Did you not get given this? If not just go to your medical centre with your passport and ehic card and they will print you one off there and then.

She is so frustrated by it all, what she said is very unclear. I will ask again and post.

Walked into rojales ayuntamiento with neccessary ID and SIP issued on the spit valid for six months
That was March, had a phone call from the lady there to renew them and did so easily, took 5 mins
Can't understand why there seems to be problems , maybe, as one suggested, it's to do with your nationality?
By the way, how do you get the permanent SIP card. We are resident now, do they get issued in due course or do we have to reapply ?? Anybody know ?
