Happened to me some time ago when I was non-res. Simply showed the EHIC and was classed as "Orange" (Red for real emergencies, Green for non serious) and was triaged by a nurse in less than 5 minutes. Told to wait in the waiting room and was called forward less than 5 minutes later. Seen by a doctor, had ECG by a nurse and a porter whisked me to the X-Ray dept in a wheelchair. Had X-Rays and, by the time the porter whisked me back to the doctor he had the X-Rays on his computer.
All in all 20 minutes. Brilliant service. My wife was really surprised to see me back home after collecting the prescriptions in less than an hour.
(Turned out I'd only bruised a couple of ribs, tip - if you have rugs in your bedroom make sure you put an anti-slip mat underneath, these marble floors are hard).

I agree Rojales health centre ( salud ) great service, 24 Hours IF they think you need Xray will probably send you to Torre hospital.

Thank you for advice. Went to Rojales health centre. Was a long wait though as a couple of emergencies and a few people in front of us. Seems he has bruised his ribs so got injection and pain killers. So thank you again everyone.
