British people to help young Spanish people speak English

British people to help young Spanish people speak English

I saw this article in the Abaco (my Fiscal Representative) Magazine and thought it may be of interest. It is talking about the Spanish Government's drive to help young Spanish people with their English speaking. The idea is to bring together British volunteers to help young Spanish people in conversation classes and looks like it could also help British people to learn some Spanish in the process. I do want to recommend Abaco who I found from this forum. For anyone looking for a really friendly but ultra-professional solicitor who will really look after your best interests, you really can't beat Abaco! They're quite forthright with their advice and won't allow you to act against your interest.

They're extremely efficient and sorted out a Power of Attorney for us so they could obtain our NIE number and even pick up our keys once the house purchase is completed, all in our absence, they took us to the notary, took copies of our passports, obtained our signatures on various forms and even took us to a shop to have extra photos taken, necessary for the notary. It was truly a lesson in time and motion and efficiency seems to be their watchword! We had a 10.00am appointment and we were met with courtesy and friendliness throughout but we're finished by 12.30pm having been dealt with by various people, as well as Caroline Clinton and Pilar Ruso from Abaco. The next time we'll see them will be when we pick up our keys - which will be as soon as our lovely vendors can arrange their move as all the legal checks etc were completed - again in record time!

All in all, they offer a complete service, just as Jan said. They'll be arranging our wills, changing the names on the various utility bills, recommending various services through Easy Spain, as we requested, and generally making the entire process totally painless, considering we're now back at work in England, dreaming of semi- retirement in beautiful Spain and powering through our Spanish CDs and books. It's all so exciting!

We would like to find boy similar age from a respectable spanish family to meet up one day late July. early august with our son on so they can talk. Our son is interested in golf tennis and waterparks. His school has arranged a pen friend but he is in North West spain so not ideal!
