As far as I am aware dogs, with the exception of guide dogs, are not allowed on buses.

Hi, we live on Dona Pepa 2 and have a lovely, super friendly black Lab. There is a designated, fenced area for Dogs in the road that leads down to Consum. I don't believe that you are meant to let them off lead here but if there's no one else using it we let Pablo have a run. Think it's just a case of using common sense and being mindful of other dogs and their owners. There's also a couple of very big roundabouts near us that we walk on with him that also have 'poo bag' stations which are very handy. Recorral park is really lovely area but we're avoiding it at the moment because of the processional caterpillars. We registered with Veterpet near Consum - very good and helpful. Good luck!

We use the Recorral park every day, like many other responsible dog owners, and if you look at the entrance and at he start of the pine trees near the roundabout, you will see that the council do spray against the procession caterpillars, and in fact did this in October last year. Even with this we are always on the look out, and have not seen any in the park, though if you go through toward the hunting area, which is not sprayed, there has been evidence there. There are also poo bag stations, refuse bins, barbecue areas, toilets, and sins for washing up. All in all a very nice place for everyone, and one of the safest.

I originally misread the question.I thought you meant what areas "to buy in" are pet friendly,I.e.which urbanisations.
In my 18 year experience in Spain, choose the urbanisation carefully,a lot have retired folk on who haven't got pets and hate to hear a dog bark, even if its warning off an intruder.Make sure you find out if there are dog owners on the street and go and talk to them.

We live on Atalaya park, which is a lovely place and very close to all the bars, shops and restaurants etc. There is an area which is great for walking dogs and I found it problem free.

And not to mention the people who seem to be incapable of stopping a dog barking. Selfish and ignorant.

Hi Guys welcome, yes Quesada is as dog friendly as anywhere, loads of us have dogs. We don't have buses though but we have good shops so you wouldn't need a car to go shopping. there is a dog park near Consum where you can take them for a play date with other dogs.

Hope you get on ok with your move, we have been here 12 years and don't regret it
