Help with our move to Spain :-)

Postby Linz84 » Wed Oct 12, 2016 8:19 pm

Hi everybody,
We are currently renting in Rojales... where we are is quiet with no children about for my son (age 4) to play with. We are here for a month to get a good feel of surrounding areas to decide where to live. We have hired a car so can get around. Drove through benijafor today then onto Guadamar. Thinking to visit ciudad quesada tomorrow. We are young English family wanting to really get to know people & settle in. My cousin & her family coming out too. Between us have 3 children aged 4, 7 & 10...Can anybody advise on schools for kids?? Also ideal places to long term rent etc or maybe estate agents to call in to?
Thankyou for your time in advance really appreciate any feedback :-) x

My advice would be to do as much research as possible on foot day and night, don,t forget to check how much sun you are going to get in both summer and winter because you will be cold in winter with no sun ie east facing, but a double edged sword red hot summer, sorry to have to say this don,t take anybodies word for it if its not in writing, it don,t exist people will promise this and that,i,ve friends who have been there and done it and been thrown out in 11 months or to do holiday lets even though you can live here for years, but it is a lovely place to live, good luck hope you find a good home,i,m near the la zenia boulevard and i am extremely happy

Thank you all for your comments...we are getting round places very easily...pleasantly surprised how close places are to one another too. If we get the right accommodation we are looking for it is shaping up to be a beautiful place to live & very excited for this new venture... And if doesn't work out for whatever reason...hey at least we tried ;-)
we will be in touch Kevin thanks see if you can help too. We also went to that agents in quesada too thanks Richard will follow up contact too xx :text-thankyouyellow:
