Just moved in
Just moved in
by ChrisDyson » Sun Apr 23, 2017 1:02 pm
Hello everyone,
I've been here about 6 weeks now, renting an apartment in Quesada near the Country Club with my two little sausage dogs.
I've moved here permanently after selling up in the UK. My folks have lived here for 15 years so I've been over many many times and just love the place.
I always thought the weather was great, but in my first week we have torrential rain, galeforce winds and even an earthquake!
But now it's all settled down and I wonder to myself "why didn't I do this 10 years ago". I'm forty-one now so I figured if I'm lucky, I've had the first half of my life in the UK, time to start afresh and have the second half in Spain!
Maybe I'll see you around whilst I'm walking Tilly & Tommy - if you do then come say hello!
Chris

Well done you on making the move. I am hoping to be there permanently by the end of this year - I am back in a few weeks for another look at properties. I will also be moving over with my two dogs - one of whom is called Tilly ! Your dogs look beautiful - amazing colour markings. Enjoy your move - hope to see you out with your dogs (and me with my dogs) later in the year, perhaps.

Welcome to Quesada and to the forum - Love the photo of your cute dogs', it looks a bit like an oil painting.
It must be nice to have parents living here and to have been here on holidays so often must have really helped to familiarise yourself with the area.
Hope all is going well with settling in - The weather is strange at times . We have had some chilly winds recently too, when generally by mid to end of April it's warming up nicely but should start getting better soon and then we will be desperate for some cool breezes LOL.
Enjoy the forum and if you need anything just ask. We are a friendly bunch on here.

Welcome to Quesada - and the dog club! We have a gorgeous Andalusian Podenco (rather like a greyhound). We've been here 15 years and love it. Hope all you newcomers settle and enjoy your new lives.

Hi there, it's great to hear that you have made the move! My husband and myself came over for a month in Feb/March with our little dog Lily. We too had awful weather and the 'earthquake' but we absolutely love the place. We are coming back in September to rent for a while before buying and cannot wait. Quesada has everything we could wish for, the lovely weather is just a bonus. We will look out for you.

Hi, I too am moving to Quesada in a couple of months with my parents and my son. We too are bringing our two small dogs and our cat.
We fell in love with the area and people there, it has everything to offer for our three generations 70's 50's to a teen.
Look forward to maybe meet whilst on our doggie walks.
