Where do you get maple syrup from then maisiesdad ..i tried icelands one but was blended and not very nice

Definitely sun cream . . . . If you go to bargain stores or look for offers in UK, PizBuin, Nivea, Ambre Solaire and obviously Boots brand can be had for around £5 a bottle . . . haven't seen anything for less than €10-11 in Spain and often close to €20!!

I think it really pointless bringing any food items as fresh food here is cheap and as good as anywhere.
Carrefour stocks food from most countries as do most supermarkets i have found
As many have commented, try not to get hung up on uk food as local food is superb and cheaper than uk equivalents on the whole.
Same when eating out, go to uk based bars for quiz nights but not for eating as they are no match for a spanish eatery

For sun cream mercadona's own make is great used it for years.
