Hi - we are Ian and Gill (65 & 55) and having paid our deposit in January we are returning soon to complete on our "new" holiday home in Dońa Pepa and we have found the forum very useful already in doing our research - so thank you to all concerned for giving us this superb platform.

Well that is encouraging :D We sold up in mid October after 12 years in Turkey - which we thoroughly enjoyed - but it was time to move on. We looked at Cyprus (Paphos & Larnaca) in December and were really disappointed with the landscape / properties - so we came here in January and decided that Quesada felt right for us as a base. We will usually spend 5 months overseas and 6/7 months in the U.K. - so never having been to this area was a bit of a "risky" decision for us but at our age - we will view it as the start of a new adventure - and already well on with my Spanish lessons :D
